Summary

Pay Range - $71,000 - $90,000 (Actual base pay based on factors such as relevant experience, education, market, qualifications, and skills)

The position will be a key member of the internal audit function for Kyocera International, Inc. The position will work closely with the Quality Systems Manager in strengthening the company's internal audit program, change management, system implementation, and general process controls. The individual will audit internal operations to ensure the adequacy of internal controls and evaluate operational effectiveness and efficiency.

Qualifications

    • Executing audit programs, preparing audit reports, documenting findings, performing data analysis, and communicating recommendations for improvements.
    • Ability to prioritize workload, and meet deadlines
    • Ability to build and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
    • Ability to work effectively as part of a team, while also successfully executing independent assignments
    • Analytical and creative problem-solving skills
    • Ability to identify and evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of internal control processes
    • Ability to identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions
    • Willingness to participate in the development or modification of audit programs to effectively and efficiently test key controls
    • Ability to assess risks
    • Ability to formalize audit observations and draft reports

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Plan Audits.
    • Perform Audits.
    • Draft and Finalize Audit Reports.
    • Conduct training as applicable on the requirements of the ISO standards
    • Support/Lead annual ISO recertifications
    • Assist with the development of Control Plans
    • Lead PFMEA meetings and create improvement plans based on RPN
    • Develop training presentations and provide training on problem-solving topics such as
      • PFMEA
      • DMAIC
      • Control plans
      • Six Sigma
      • 5-Whys
      • 8D

    Performs any other related duties as required or assigned.

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

    Four-year technical degree (i.e. bachelor's) or equivalent experience required in such fields as engineering, science, computer engineering, etc, plus 2-5 years of related experience and/or training. ISO 9001/14001/45001 Auditor certification from an accredited company, Lead Auditor certification preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
